Seat rails and levers: how we work
For years, we at Cama Srl have been producing metal profiles, guides and seat levers of various kinds. We put our experience at the service of companies, always guaranteeing high quality results. The first phase of our work
The first thing we do when making metal profiles, seat rails and levers, is to listen. We listen carefully to the customer’s needs and put down on paper what should be the characteristics of the guides and levers they need to complete their vehicles. We serve all manufacturers of motor vehicles, boats, industrial vehicles, agricultural vehicles, rail vehicles, aircraft and more.
Listening allows us to realise a detailed technical drawing and modify it until it becomes the perfect project. The customer can also bring us a drawing to complete or ready to help shape the required metal profile.
The choice of materials for seat rails and levers
The next step in our work is to choose the best materials. For guides and levers, we always choose materials that are both light and strong at the same time, such as aluminium. Selecting this type of metal allows us to make machining simpler and faster, while at the same time guaranteeing the customer impeccable results. Once ready, the seat rails and levers can be implemented in the vehicle, guaranteeing minimal weight, a small footprint, reliability and excellent performance.
Metal profiling and quality control
We will now get to work using a process in which we specialise: cold forming. This is a sheet metal bending process that is carried out continuously and at room temperature. It is an excellent solution as it allows us to reduce production time and costs, in particular by guaranteeing a high production capacity of profiles in large quantities.
Cold profiling is the ideal technique for producing seat rails and levers, complex metal profiles, made to measure and to drawing. Before delivery to the customer, we finish the various parts and perform a careful quality control.
